Are you curious as to how big your new addition sheepadoodle puppy will get? In this blog, we’ll be exploring sheepadoodle sizes with a growth chart to see how they’re growing!

Check out our available sheepadoodle puppies if you’re interested in getting one.

Sheepadoodles can come in various sizes! It depends on how they were bred. A standard sheepadoodle puppy is a mix between an Old English Sheepdog and a Standard Poodle. Old English Sheepdogs range anywhere between 60-100 lbs and a standard poodle is 50-65 lbs. As a result, a standard sheepadoodle at full grown can be anywhere between 50-85lbs. Of course, there are outliers, but on average, you can find a female sheepadoodle to be around 50 lbs and a male sheepadoodle to be about 70lbs.

There’s another type of sheepadoodle which is the mini sheepadoodle. These minis have been selectively bred by breeding the small sheepadoodles with small sheepadoodles. To get them small first, you have to mix an Old English Sheepdog (there’s only one size) to a medium poodle. Then, through selectively breeding, you get the small ones.

Estimated Growth Chart for sheepadoodle puppies

Sheepadoodle Size for Males (approximate weight ~ ish)

This sheepadoodle growth chart shows an estimated prediction of a sheepadoodle growth based on my experience. Of course, there are outlier puppies who are either extra large or extra small. In Bailey’s last litter, she had 11 puppies. Three of her puppies came out very small! The biggest one was two times the size of the smallest ones. At 12 days old, they were the same size as Sevi’s newborn sheepadoodles.

Most of the sheepadoodle growth will take place between 2 months to 8 months. You will see a dramatic increase. Don’t be alarmed! They will slow down starting at 9 months and will reach full size at 1.5 years. However, at one year, the weight is somewhat steady.
