While Old English Sheepdogs typically have solid or bi-colored coats, certain Poodles carry the merle gene, which can be passed down to their Sheepadoodle offspring when one parent is a merle carrier. The gene responsible for this pattern is dominant, meaning that only one parent needs to carry it for the trait to appear in the puppies. What makes getting a merle sheepadoodle puppy from us safe and secure is the fact that all of these puppies are only carriers of the Merle genes. They are NOT double Merles; therefore, are much healthier and have no issues with their vision or hearing.
